I agree with you wholeheartedly, Sally. I truly believe we will face serious fresh water shortages which will threaten out existence as a species long before climate change will affect us, but you are absolutely right. When thengs do start to change, they will do so quickly and violently, and those who have learned good survival techniques like gardening, animal husbandry, and other basic skills will inherit the future, if there is one to be had.

I read your articles and blogs on water shortages, Bob. Thanks for being so thorough. I find it hard to believe that we, as intelligent human beings and stewards of the earth, have let it get to this point. After all, there is only one earth. When the water runs out and the plants and animals all die, where are we going to live?
