A review of a company that sells raised bed gardening kits. Blue Grass Garden Beds.com sells oak raised bed gardening kits that require no tools or nails.

I recently reviewed a website on raised bed gardening by a company in Kentucky that sells raised bed gardening kits. These raised bed gardening kits are unique. I liked the concept and the products.

Fashioned of durable white oak, the raised garden beds require no tools at all to put them together due to their ingenious design. They assemble in minutes and can be added on to later as your needs expand.

Appropriately named Blue Grass Garden Beds, this company was founded by Mike Wyatt. Per the website, "Mike Wyatt began designing and building his own raised beds. His wife Cindy, an avid gardener, was looking for a place at their farmhouse to have a garden, but not have the everyday hassle of removing weeds. Mike incorporated the benefits of raised garden beds to create the ideal setting for Cindy's vegetable and herb gardens. Many family and friends visiting the farm were amazed by the innovation and ease of Mike's design and immediately requested that he build one for their own garden."

"In the South good news travels faster than kudzu growing on a hillside. Gardeners from all across the region started requesting the garden beds and before long, Mike came out of retirement to start Bluegrass Garden Beds and began manufacturing the garden beds from their plant in Paducah, Kentucky."

Mike shared further, "Our intent was to build a system that could easily and quickly be put together, with NO tools. It is simple and can be a small rectangular bed or a complex garden system. Either can be built by using a combination of only 8 parts."

Mike told me he is currently working on a potting bench to add to the company's line.
